I found an interesting post on the Facebook page of an old blogger friend, a recent story on the impact of Social Networking websites on defendants in court:

In the age of the Internet, it might not be hard to guess what happened to those pictures: Someone posted them on the social networking site Facebook. And that offered remarkable evidence for Jay Sullivan, the prosecutor handling Lipton's drunken-driving case...

I understand there will be a concentrated effort by PD offices in Calif to come up with a MySpace policy for their investigators. Ours will be pretty liberal but I wonder how others will shake out.
