The Press-Enterprise A former investigator for the Riverside County public defender's office is on trial, charged with raping a woman at his Temecula apartment in 2007.

Mario Navarro, 43, is on trial at the Southwest Justice Center in French Valley. Navarro worked as an investigator for the public defender's Murrieta-area office between 2006 and 2007, Assistant Public Defender Robert Willey said.

You say you want Justice served, but also want him acquitted in the case. That seems to be problematic. How would Justice be served if he was acquitted and he actually committed the crime?
Have you contemplated that he may have actually done it? I'm just throwing it out there. I firmly believe that if you take a position and back it up, then take the consequences.
I think you are assuming that in order for me to want justice to be served, that he must be found guilty?
Justice will be served if he receives a fair trial...nothing more, nothing less.
Of course he may have done it! I don't know him and I really know anything about the case other than what I've read in the paper.
I don't want to believe that someone who does the work that I do...would be capable of doing something like this to someone else. Simple as that.
Fair enough, I took your Justice served to mean he was to be acquitted, but I like you agree Justice would be served if he gets a fair trial and jury of his peers. That's all he's entitled too. I hope for his sake he didn't do it, because like you I work for the defense at times. I hope the TRUTH prevails.
