Today Is Not Humpday

First off, thanks to Dr. Moreau for a long AND informative first post on Tales. Dr. Moreau is a well respected Public Defender Investigator NOT from California and he has also chosen to remain anonymous. Maybe we can get a bit of an intro from him in the future so you guys can read what he is all about...without giving too much away of course!
Welcome, and I'm looking forward to more posts from you in the future. You even got a comment! I think it took me a while before anyone even bothered to read past the title of my blawg.

I don't know what Tuesday is.

I mean, its not Humpday like Wednesday is called by a few of us in my office, its also not Ughh Mundane as Monday has been referred to around my neck of the woods.

I've been looking for a name I could call it and all I could think of was Taco Tuesday. I like Taco's and they are serving them as a special in the county cafeteria every Tuesday until the end of March.

Taco Tuesday. I like the sound of it.

Anyway, things here are good. DefenderWiki is off and running to a great start. We have lots of people signed up for it but nobody has decided to jump off the cliff and post some useful info. There are some of you that have emailed me to say that you want to see it before you sign-up.

Unfortunately, that's not how it works.

For those of you who want to see DefenderWiki in action, you actually have to be invited by me. Right now, if you have never emailed me for access, all you are going to see is a webpage welcoming you to Google Sites. For those of you who HAVE emailed me and I have sent you an invitation to join, you'll see the starting page similar to this (but with much better resolution):

I am not saying that this site is going to be the End All Resource for Public Defender Investigators but I do hope its at least the Cat's Meow. Once again, if you're interested in access, shoot me an email. Again, you MUST be employed by a Public Defender office in the United States or similar type office out of the country.

My next post is almost half written already! Its called, Why Defense Investigators Can Be Real Dick's Sometimes. A friend forwarded me a thread on a Defense Group Forum that I can't seem to find my Login for and there was a discussion on wearing Jackets in the field that identify ourselves...lets just say the responses were not all friendly.

More later...
