Grab a fan (plugged in, of course) and put it in the freezer. Sit inside the freezer (while on) and turn the fan on. To replicate a good Alaska storm, turn the fan on high and shake ice chips in front of the fan as it blows on you.<BR/><BR/>I was out riding snowmachines one day a few years ago when it his -45. I took a glove off, I think to grab something out of the back. After about 20 seconds, my fingers stopped working. I mean that literally. I had to use my other hand to put my glove back on and then had to grab the hand-warmer handle bars of the snow machine.<BR/><BR/>But here's how to tell a true Alaskan: if you start talking about how cold it is, they inevitably say, "ah, it's been colder."
