I hope you don't mind my reply to such an old post.<BR/><BR/>I just so happened to have experienced some training seminars with Brandon Perron. I'm the Investigative Support Staff at my office and the chief let me sit in on training. Mr. Perron is dedicated to the proper training of Defense Investigators. The State gets all the money and all the goods and the Defense has to keep one step ahead of them. I'm sure you can relate to that! It's great that he has set up programs tailored to the defense. It's so rare to come across any training or information geared towards our side. We had Brandon do a session for two years, then we switched for this year. That person trains our local officers. It was an insult. She badmouthed the outcome of one of our landmark cases (Ever see Murder on a Sunday Morning?) and she had us do the most ridiculous exercise. She gave us a picture in a hand out that was a drawing of a crime scene and she gave us the specialized stencils to... get this... draw the crime scene. We basically copied the drawing in front of us.
